Abstract
Abstract
The results of treating 146 patients with varicose veins by injection compression were analysed from 1 to 5 years after the initial treatment. Very good and good results were obtained in 83 per cent of 201 legs and only 3 per cent were not improved. The number of further courses of injection necessary increased directly with the length of follow-up. The best results followed an ‘endosclerotic’ initial reaction to injection.
