Abstract
Abstract
The management of faecal fistulas originating in the small intestine is discussed, with particular reference to the problems of surgical intervention. A plea is made for the use of resection of the fistulated segment of bowel with exteriorization of the ends whenever this proves practicable. This method was successful in 9 out of 10 cases in which it was employed.
