Abstract
AbstractNdFeO3 (NFO) nanoparticles were synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method, followed by calcination treatment at various temperatures. The NFO samples were systematically characterized using X‐ray diffraction, Thermogravimetric, Fourier transform infrared spectra, UV‐vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, Transmission electron microscopy, and N2 adsorption‐desorption analysis. The visible‐light photocatalytic performance of different calcined temperature NFO was examined by the photodegradation of oily wastewater. The results revealed that NFO nanoparticles calcined at 800 °C exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity when 0.3 g/L of H2O2 was added during the photocatalysis, suggesting that NFO could be a promising photo‐Fenton catalyst for decomposing organic contaminants in wastewater.
