Rhodium‐Catalyzed Annulations of 6‐Arylimidazothiazoles with Alkynes through Rollover Dual C−H Bond Activation Strategy

Abstract

AbstractWe developed an efficient method for thesynthesis of 5,6‐diarylnaphthoimidazo[2,1‐b]thiazoles from6‐arylimidazo[2,1‐b]thiazoles with alkynes through rollover C−H activation strategy by using Rh(III)‐catalyst. Alternatively, the imidazo[2,1‐b]thiazole fused isoquinolinium tetrafluoroborate salts also have been achieved by tuning the reaction conditions with good yields.
