Abstract
AbstractThe NMR spectra of mixtures of butanol‐1, butanol‐2, methyl‐propanol‐1, and methyl‐propanol‐2 with heavy water are discussed. The intensities of the hydroxyl and water signals have been found to agree with the theoretical probability curves. No coalescence of these signals could be found in the miscibility region. The influence of the dilution effect and of the magnetic field strength on the spectra is mentioned.
