Abstract
Transparent display is realized by varies approaches such as LCD display, microLED display, and OLED display, etc. We proposed a high image qualities transparent projection display in this paper. The projection film for such display is composed of micro‐replication base film with an ambient light reduction layer (absorptive black ink) to enhance the image qualities in the ambient condition. The ambient light is guided by micro‐lens to light reduction material and thus enhance the contract ratio of the image in the bright environment Besides, portion of projection screen about 40% area is left blank intentionally for see‐through propose. Such projection film increase projected image contract ratio ideally by 5 times comparing to traditional matt‐white projection screen. The proposed projection film is proposed for see‐through scenario such as automobile entertainment or retail applications.
