Abstract
Key Clinical MessageWe report a case of diverticulum of the buccal mucosa. A 56‐year‐old man had a small pouch‐shaped lesion behind the parotid papilla that caused pain and food impaction. After resection, the lesion was histopathologically diagnosed as diverticulum without buccal muscle tear. There has been no recurrence during 1 year postoperatively.
