Editorial in response to Thangaiah et al.

Abstract

In the April 2023 issue, Thangaiah and colleagues have revisited the infrequently studied but important topic of distinguishing autoimmune pancreatitis from well‐differentiated (and sometimes moderately differentiated) pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. This distinction is crucial because of the important implications for patient management.
