61‐2: Distinguished Paper: Development of the Ink‐jet Printing Technology for 55 inch 8K AMQLED Display

Abstract

In this study, we obtained the optimal the structure of QLED topemission spin‐coating device. We use the device structure for inkjet printing, and optimize the morphology and thickness of each layer by controlling the drying process. The red, green and blue devices prepared by using the optimized inkjet printing process show that the electroluminescence area is equal to the designed area of pixels, with clear boundaries, uniform electroluminescent morphologies within a single sub‐pixel, and no significant difference in luminescence between pixels. Finally, we assembled and fabricated a 55‐inch 8K AMQLED display.
