Abstract
AbstractAn efficient, practical and metal‐free methodology for the synthesis of β‐silyl‐α‐amino acid motifs via photoredox and hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) process is described. This protocol enables the direct hydrosilylation of dehydroalanine derivatives and tolerates a wide array of functional groups and synthetic handles, leading to valuable β‐silyl‐α‐amino acids with moderate to good yields.
