Abstract

AbstractA protocol has been developed for the synthesis of α‐aryl‐oxindoles from isatin and Grignard reagents in the presence of diphenyl phosphite for the first time. This reaction was conveniently carried out under mild conditions in a one‐pot fashion with moderate to excellent yields.
