Stereoselective β‐Arylation of Enol Ethers by a Pd‐Catalyzed Fujiwara‐Moritani Coupling of α‐Oxyacrylates

Abstract

AbstractHerein, Pd(II)‐catalyzed dehydrogenative Heck coupling of 2‐oxyacrylates with arenes for the stereocontrolled production of (Z)‐β‐arylated vinyl ethers is reported. This methodology offers a straightforward and step‐economical route to the synthesis of attractive β‐arylated α‐oxy α,β‐unsaturated carboxylates family which emerged as a relevant class of building blocks with different applications.
