Abstract

In this paper, we address a Von Karman equation with nonlinear dissipation, logarithmic source effect, and acoustic boundary conditions. We devote to investigate a blow‐up result of the solutions corresponding to the equation. Owing to the presence of nonlinear dissipation instead of linear dissipation, we have some difficulty in use of the concavity method. Thus, using the energy method, we establish a blow‐up result of the solutions with some positive initial energy.
