Studies of Ultrafast Chemical and Physical Processes with Picosecond Lasers

Abstract

AbstractPicosecond studies of the dynamics of the cage effect in the recombination of iodine atoms and collision induced predissociation of I2 are reported. Also studies of intermolecular energy transfer on the picosecond time scale and comparison with theory are presented. Lastly, the dynamics of excited state charge transfer complex formation and comparison with theory is presented.
