Abstract

AbstractCounselor education needs innovative approaches to research that align with counseling values including the multicultural social justice counseling competencies. Community‐based participatory research can be used as an approach to bridge gaps in research and promote equity, social justice competencies, and ethical standards in the field of counseling.
