Abstract

AbstractAcoustic velocity (U), viscosity (η), and density (ρ) characteristics were conducted for different ternary blends of aniline + toluene mixed with some 1‐alcohols at 303 K. Acoustical quantities such as adiabatic compressibility (β), free length (Lf), free volume (Vf), and internal pressure (πi) are acquired from the obtained results for all the blends, with a perspective to study the nature of molecular interaction. These parameters were analyzed along with their excess values (AE) and are found to be useful in evaluating the strength and magnitude of interaction in the blends. The measurement reveals that the interaction between the aniline‐alcohol complexes predominant the other interaction. The excess parameters are fitted to polynomial‐kind Cibulka formula and the coefficient of the fitting are found to be corroborate this work.
