Abstract

AbstractThe accumulation of chiral ammonium‐oxocarbenium dications in superacid is evidenced by low‐temperature NMR spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction analysis and confirmed by DFT calculations. Its potential for the diastereoselective remote hydrofunctionalization of non‐activated alkene is also explored.
