Abstract
AbstractWireless power transfer (WPT) refers to promising technology that allows energy transfer between devices without wires or cables. Although wireless power transfer systems have come a long way, they still have a long way to go before they become truly viable. An approach that has been offered to address these issues is the implementation of fractional‐order elements in WPT systems. Fractional‐order wireless power transfer systems have emerged as a promising solution to address some challenges in classical approaches. This review aims to provide a valuable resource for researchers and engineers interested in designing and optimizing WPT systems using fractional methods by summarizing the current knowledge on fractional‐based approaches in WPT. Furthermore, this article sheds light on the benefits, challenges, and prospects of integrating fractional elements into WPT strategies.
