Abstract
AbstractA new passive compensation structure for Chebyshev‐I complex band‐pass filter is presented. The proposed method aims to cancel the excess phase lag of the integrators caused by the limited gain‐bandwidth product (GBW) of the amplifier, thus ensuring the in‐band flatness of the magnitude‐frequency response. A fifth‐order Chebyshev‐I active‐RC complex band‐pass filter (CBPF) is implemented in TSMC 0.13 μm CMOS technology with a center frequency of 12.24 MHz and a bandwidth of 9 MHz for low‐IF receivers. The CBPF achieves a 46 dB image rejection ratio, a 0.7 dB ripple in the passband and consumes 14.6 mA current from a 1.5 V power supply.
