Abstract
The article considers approaches in the study of psychological readiness of psychology students for professional activity. The article highlights the importance of understanding the essence of the phenomenon for science and practice and describes existing contradictions and problems. The results of empirical study of components of psychological readiness of psychology students of different universities at the stage of professional training are presented.
