Abstract
Abstract
All the Hellenic zones are represented in an east-west structure section across north central Greece (Epirus and Thessaly provinces), except the Vardar and Rhodope zones. The westernmost zones are autochthonous (pre-Apulian, Ionian, and Gavrovo zones). The para-autochthonous complex consists of two nappes, which were thrust westward but which maintained original relationships relative to the autochthonous complex and to each other.
