Abstract
Abstract
Describes the pre-Liassic to Eocene section exposed on a scarp face on the northeast slope of the Bahariya massif, Egypt, and discusses the age, probably Rhaetic (Triassic) or possibly lowermost Jurassic, of plant-bearing beds found at the base of the series of Bathonian (Jurassic) marls. Descriptions of the plant remains are included.
