Abstract
Revision of the stratigraphy of Mesozoic and Nummulitic (Tertiary) deposits forming the sedimentary cover of the Paleozoic complex in the Malaga region, Spain, shows that there has been considerable faulting. Both stretching and the development of thrust slices have caused dislocations in terrain previously considered to have been undisturbed.
