Abstract
Abstract
The remains of a Burdigalian giant pig were found near Zelten (Libya). A skull, notable for the presence of conical superorbital protuberances and by the reduction of the anterior skull, confirms that it is of the genus Bunolistriodon. The precision of the features clearly distinguishes it from the zygolophodont genus Listriodon.
