Abstract
In this article, Herpes simplex virus (HSV} infections are emphesized Primary infections, latent infections, spreading of the virus by asymptomatic patients and findigns of recurrence are looked over. Meanwhile, clinical findings of gingivostomatitis, Keratoconjunctivitis, vulvovaginitis and neonatal forms are summarized, principles of treatment and prevention are defined.
