Abstract
Subject. The article addresses trends in the export of products of Russia’s agro-industrial complex.
Objectives. The purpose is to assess prospects for cooperation with the major importers of Russian agricultural products.
Methods. The study draws on methods of statistical, coefficient, and regression analysis.
Results. The study determines that Kazakhstan and Turkey depend, to the greatest extent, on the supply of agricultural products from Russia. It presents a forecast for wheat production up to 2030. The comprehensive analysis shows that sub-sectors related to the production of sugar, grain, and fat-and-oil products are the most competitive ones.
Conclusions. To strengthen Russia's position in the Asian market, it is necessary to diversify the supply of agricultural products.
