Abstract
Subject. The article considers issues of providing for basic human needs.
Objectives. The purpose is to assess the main objective indicators of life quality of the population of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Methods. The study employs methods of statistical analysis.
Results. The paper established that the Republic of Bashkortostan occupies a relatively low position among the leading regions in terms of the quality of life of the population. However, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, measures are being taken to support and develop certain sectors of the economy, contributing to gradual growth of the population’s welfare.
Conclusions. The findings can be applied in designing and implementing regional housing development programs.
