Assessment of the beneficiation efficiency criteria when nonferrous metal ores mining

Abstract

Subject. This article discusses the functioning of mining enterprises of the Krasnoyarsk Krai. Objectives. The article aims to determine the possibilities of applying beneficiation when developing nonferrous metal ores deposits. Methods. For the study, we used analysis, comparison, generalization, and the mathematical methods. Results. The article proves the limitations of the possibility of a phenomenological approach to improving the efficiency of mining enterprises. The article proposes to use a universal physical and technological approach that allows to reduce metal losses with waste and reduce the costs of advanced beneficiation and chemical and metallurgical extraction, as well as the environmental burden. Relevance. The results of the study can be used when developing a strategy for the development of industries engaged in the extraction of minerals.
