The role of technology transfer in bridging the digital divide in educational organizations

Abstract

Subject. The article is devoted to the digital gap in educational organizations and the possibility to overcome it, using the transfer of educational technologies. Objectives. The aim is to explore the role of technology transfer in bridging the digital divide in educational organizations. Methods. The study employs general scientific methods (analysis, communication, classification), special methods (the retrospective method, problem structuring method, and algorithmization method). The research methodology rests on understanding the problem of eliminating the digital divide in educational organizations as a complex task, requiring the use of new approaches to organizing the transfer process. Results. The study stated that organizing the educational process based on technology transfer provides significant benefits to educational institutions and directly to students, solving the issues of bridging the digital gap. Conclusions. The technology transfer enables to bring educational institutions to a new level of efficiency, creating the prerequisites for intensifying the process of digital competence development of Russian citizens on conditions of equality and universal access to education.
