Abstract
Subject. The article considers the nature of power engineering development in Russia and China.
Objectives. The focus is on the comparison of innovative activity of power engineering enterprises of these two countries.
Methods. We employ methods of comparative analysis.
Results. We analyzed the growth rate of intangible assets of enterprises of Russia and China and offered a solution to the problem of investment in scientific and technical developments in Russia.
Conclusions. There is a positive trends in the growth of the share of intangible assets in total assets of Russian power engineering enterprises.
