Improving the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of State and municipal procurement

Abstract

Subject. This article considers the problem of efficient budget funds spending, creation of a unified system of accounting for public procurement, and meeting the needs of society. Objectives. The article aims to develop a system of indicators that should be taken into account to assess the effectiveness of public procurement at the present stage of development of the Russian economy. Methods. For the study, we used the methods of logical and statistical analyses. Results. The article analyzes the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of public procurement developed by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation. The article proposes the author-developed approach to improve the methodology mentioned. Conclusions. At present, there is a need to develop a universal approach to assess the effectiveness of State and municipal procurement.
