Abstract

LetNbe a 3-prime 2-torsion-free zero-symmetric left near-ring with multiplicative centerZ. We prove that ifNadmits a nonzero generalized derivationfsuch thatf(N)⊆Z, thenNis a commutative ring. We also discuss some related properties.
