Abstract

Two new species of Trichoptera from Turkey are described and illustrated:Chaetopteryx akgolensissp.n. andChaetopteryx sinopicasp.n. (Limnepphilidae). Both belong to the tribe Chaetopterygini in the Limnephilinae.C. akgolensissp.n. is close toC. bektasensisSipahiler, 2008, whereasC. sinopicasp.n. is closely related toC. nalanaeSipahiler, 1996. The previously unknown female ofChaetopteryx bektasensisSipahiler, 2008 is described and figured.
