Abstract
This material is structured as an retrospective study regarding the identification, diagnosis and aplication of a treatment protocol for patients presented with clinical signs compatible with pyrethrin intoxication. The suggestive clinical signs are: hypersalivation, central ataxia and convulsive events. The emergency treatment protocol consists in the management of the convulsive events and toxic shock, removal of the toxicant from the action site and post-presentation monitoring, as well as case resolution.
