Abstract
The need for effective functioning in the conditions of global competition forces humanity to master new technologies, methods and approaches. The changing economic environment requires manufacturers to more actively adapt to the requirements of consumers. Experts note the relevance of working with the entire value chain. Therefore, it is preferable to rely on international experience in the implementation of integrated traditional and modern production systems. The article presents an analysis of previous literature reviews on the implementation of lean thinking in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
