EFEKTIVITAS PENYULUHAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN STUNTING WARGA RT 14 KELURAHAN BUKIT PINANG, KOTA SAMARINDA

Abstract

ABSTRAKStunting merupakan permasalahan gizi kronis pada balita yang ditandai dengan kondisi tinggi badan yang lebih pendek dibandingkan dengan anak seusianya. Stunting menjadi permasalahan gizi yang hampir ada disetiap daerah di Indonesia. Salah satu daerah yang memiliki permasalahan stunting yaitu Kalimantan Timur. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait dengan stunting. Metode yang digunakan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu prakegiatan : survei dan penentuan lokasi, menentukan prioritas masalah ; tahap kegiatan meliputi wawancara, kuestioner, penyuluhan; tahap evaluasi : pengolahan data hasil kuestioner dan pelaporan. melibatkan ketua RT, kader posyandu setempat dan masyarakat dengan jumlah 9 orang yang menjadi responden. Berdasarkan hasil Pre-Test pengetahuan terkait stunting, terdapat 9 (100%) responden yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang, 0 (0%) responden yang memiliki pengetahuan cukup, dan 0 (0%) responden yang memiliki pengetahuan baik. Kemudian hasil Post-test pengetahuan terkait stunting , terdapat 0 (0%) responden yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang, 6 (66,7%) responden yang memiliki pengetahuan cukup, dan 3 (33,3%) responden yang memiliki pengetahuan baik. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan post-test dari data uji statistik terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan setelah diberikan tindakan berupa penyuluhan dengan topik utama stunting di Kelurahan Bukit Pinang RT 14 Kota Samarinda. Kegiatan penyuluhan menunjukkan adanya  pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat. Kata kunci: stunting; penyuluhan; efektifitas. ABSTRACTStunting is a chronic nutritional problem in toddlers characterized by a condition of shorter height compared to children their age. The purpose of community service is to increase community knowledge related to stunting. The method used goes through several stages, namely pre-activity: surveying and determining the location, determining the priority of the problem; the stage of activity includes interviews, questionnaires, counseling; evaluation stage: processing of questionnaire result data and reporting. involving the head of the RT, local posyandu cadres and the community with a total of 9 people who were respondents. Based on the results of the Pre-Test of knowledge related to stunting, there are 9 (100%) respondents who have less knowledge, 0 (0%) respondents who have sufficient knowledge, and 0 (0%) respondents who have good knowledge. Then the results of the Post-test of knowledge related to stunting, there were 0 (0%) respondents who had less knowledge, 6 (66.7%) respondents who had sufficient knowledge, and 3 (33.3%) respondents who had good knowledge. Based on the results of the pretest and post-test from statistical test data, there was an increase in knowledge after being given actions in the form of counseling with the main topic of stunting in Bukit Pinang Village RT 14 Samarinda City.
