Abstract

The human resources industry has undergone significant transformation as a result of the advent of HR analytics. Managers are now able to make accurate databased decisions leading to better performance. Organizations utilize HR analytics to examine employee turnover, utilize talents effectively, gather information for decisionmaking, etc. HR analytics can also boost performance, productivity, and profitability when they are linked with corporate strategy. Performance Appraisal is a continuous system of evaluating employees based on their set goals. HR analytics is very useful during the performance evaluation cycle as it assists employers in identifying performance gaps and closing them using the data available. Equally important in the appraisal process are the peer group and subordinates, whose inputs in the form of data help assess and improve performance. These variables may be tracked and shared with management and staff to help everyone perform better and be more productive. In this context, the study aims to explore the mediating effect of peer groups and subordinates in the performance appraisal process and how it contributes to the organizational outcome of selected IT Companies in Kerala.<br>
