Abstract
In this paper it is shown how the analysis of Came and Marsh ( 1) can be extended to provide estimates of secondary streamwise vorticity at the exit of a blade-row when the primary flow includes streamwise losses and takes place on rotating axisymmetric streamsurfaces. The results are shown to be consistent with those of Smith ( 2) under suitable limiting conditions.
