Abstract
Introduction. Colorectal cancer (КРР) is still the leading cause of cancer death worldwide today. Less than half of cases are diagnosed when the cancer is locally advanced. CRN is a heterogeneous disease associated with a number of genetic or somatic mutations. Therefore, research aimed at identifying molecular markers such as DNA, RNA and proteins will improve survival rates and contribute to the development of personalized medicine. The identification of “ideal” diagnostic biomarkers, which have high sensitivity and specificity, are safe, cheap and easy to measure, remains a problem in oncology surgery.
The purpose of the work is to review modern foreign sources of literature with achievements that have diagnostic potential in patients with КРР.
