ACTIVE CONSERVATIVE AND SURGICAL TREATMENT OF SEVERE LOCAL COLD INJURY

Abstract

Abstract. The article presents the results of treatment of patients with local cold injury (frostbite) in the burn department of the MNE “City Clinical Hospital of Rapid and Emergency Aid named after Prof. O.I. Meshchaninov” of the Kharkiv City Council according to the developed algorithms for providing specialized medical care in the early stages of cryoinjection (pre-reactive and early reactive periods). It has been proven that the implementation of the developed methods of diagnosis of the depth and area of damage, complex conservative therapy and early surgical interventions (necrotomy, necrofasciotomy, necromyofasciotomy) contributed to the reversibility of the course of the local process of cold injury in 75% of patients, the reduction of complications, and the shortening of the patients’ stay in the hospital.
