Abstract

Are evaluation results more collectible 150 samples of spring barley of various ecological and geographical origin on the basis of resistance to lodging and yield. Not all varieties are included in State Register of the RF selection invention resistant to lodging. Lodging reduces the biological yield of barley, aids to disease development, decrease mass of the 1000 grains and grain units, makes harvesting difficulty. As a result, grain loss can be reach 20…40%. The field studies were carried out in accordance with the state crop varieties field testing of the A.B. Dospekhov and also with the guidelines of the barley and oats World Folio. The obtained data were compared with the Yaromir variety standard characteristics. The analysis of the samples studied height dependencies of resistance to lodging and yield. It was revealed that over the years of research there was a negative relationship between plant height and resistant to lodging is not dependent on conditions (r = -0.56 ...-0.6). It has been established that in arid year 2015 low degree of lodging collection numbers observed high positive correlation indicating that with the increase in height of the plants there was upward pressure on yields. Low feedback in other years between yield and plant height (r = -0.15 ...-0.22) indicates that higher yields in these years formed the undersized genotypes. On the basis of the received data highlighted in spring barley samples resistant to lodging, having advantages in comparison with a standard grade and other samples on the basis of productivity in terms of Ryazan oblast. In our tests, the Group spun off from the high-yielding adapted and stable varieties with high resistance to lodging: Jaromír, reliable, Quench, Prosa, Explorer, Overtiur i etc. Dedicated, in our view, the group is a valuable source material for spring barley breeding on researched characteristics.
