Abstract
The Internet promises access to a diversity of minds in their quest for knowledge. But if we continue applying traditional models of production and teaching to new technical possibilities, we cancel out their potential innovation dimensions and run the risk of bolting classroom-based practices onto a different delivery system. Instead, we should be looking at new methods of presentation and creation of interactive learning materials. In this paper we focus on three models of production and the challenges of developing interactive learning materials.
