Abstract

The next generation of IMA platforms should include reconfiguration capabilities in order to limit the effect of hardware failures on aircraft operational reliability. In this paper, we investigate architecture principles for such platforms and propose adequate reconfiguration services. A preliminary analysis of the design feasibility and its contribution to operational reliability is performed. The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7 / 2007-2013) under Grant Agreement no ACP7-GA-2008-211439.
