Abstract

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a tool used in business and by users for gleaning relevant information from the Internet. RSS technology can be used in the education environment to enhance research methods for students. Students can use RSS to glean current information from on-line journals, publications, web logs and other sources without visiting the sites daily. A combination of RSS and personal web files can be used for student group projects to connect the students and share research over the Internet.
