Abstract

The relevance of the topic under study is due to the wide prevalence of lymphadenopathy (LAP), its various etiology, non-specificity, and an increased risk of neoplastic processes in conditions of environmental distress. Most clinicians of various specialties are familiar with this pathology, including infectious disease specialists, surgeons, GPs, hematologists, oncologists, and pediatricians. Lymphadenopathy is one of the most common clinical symptoms, which complicates differential diagnosis, both between infectious diseases and oncohematological, systemic diseases, tuberculosis, and syphilis. Purpose of the study is to assess the clinical and epidemiological features of lymphadenopathy in various infectious diseases in the Arkhangelsk Region. An analysis of LAP among hospital and clinic patients in the Arkhangelsk Region for the period of 2021–2022 is presented. The following parameters were assessed: prevalence among children and adults, features of the epidemiological history and clinical picture.
