Abstract

Medicine and its ability to overcome diseases, epidemics, and mass mortality helped humanity survive the most difficult times in history. It is known that the development of medical science went through several stages over several millennia, gradually improving its capabilities. At the present stage, an essential component of progress in the medical industry is the large-scale development of information technologies, which make it possible to provide medical services of the highest quality, expand the range of opportunities, develop the information component, and form new channels of interaction between social agents. Such modern industries as microbiology, prosthetics, and surgery would not be possible without the development of science and technology. The Internet acted as a significant impetus for the development of the technical and digital spheres, making a breakthrough in almost all spheres of human life possible.
