Abstract
Low bioavailability of practically insoluble pharmaceutical substances is a serious issue in the field of drug development. The article provides an overview of the main methods for preparing liposomal drugs, such as the lipid film hydration method, ultrasonication method, extrusion method, high pressure homogenization method, solvent injection method, detergent removal method, and the reversephase evaporation method.
