Multi-format marketplaces as a driver of e-commerce development in Russia

Abstract

Forecasted in 2022, the e-commerce turnover in the Russian Federation will amount to 4,207 billion rubles which is 16 % higher than in 2021. Significant annual growth forms a steady trend of e-commerce achieving the third of total retail turnover in the country, which predetermines detailed estimates of this segment, factor analysis, and the determination of drivers of development.
