Relationship between activity styles of medical college students and danger experience during the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

The article presents the results of studying the relationship between student activity styles as a subject of life activity and experiencing the vital threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. The relevance of the research in the framework of the study of the diverse activity of medical students is indicated. The results of the study can be used in psychological counseling, as well as become the basis for the development of psychological support programs for the educational process of medical students during a pandemic. The purpose of the research. To study of the relationship between the activity styles of medical college students and the experience of the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. Results. The study has established a connection in medical college students between the "Cognitive- reflexive" style of activity and the experience of "Danger-safety" in relation to the mental "I" and in relation to people; the "Communicative-reflexive" style of activity is associated with the experience of the insecurity of the world. Conclusion. The research is of practical importance for psychologists of educational organizations in the conduct of psychological education and individual psychological counseling of students.
