Biological effects of low-intensity intravascular laser blood irradiation and mechanisms ensuring their clinical efficacy

Abstract

The article analyzes the role of intravascular laser blood irradiation (ILBI) in the complex therapy of chronic inflammatory diseases. ILBI is one of the methods of quantum physiotherapy. The method is based on irradiation of blood directly in the vascular bed through an optical light guide, which is usually inserted into any easily accessible vein. The radiation source is a laser therapeutic device that emits light with a wavelength of 630 nm (red).
